New Balance introduces a brand new silhouette to its expansive lineup this season. The 8040 iteration fuses design elements from their token 9060 line, with this latest shoe sitting somewhere between a moc, a loafer and trainer all in one. A design that hasn’t really been seen in the NB’s catalogue, the uppers forego a lace closure altogether, while consisting of a smooth suede construction. Sealed at the collar with an ankle strap, the easy-on wearability of these shoes is combined with a full length mudguard and chunky rubberized outsole to complete the new age look.
